The Plantation
The New Underground Railroad
Brought to you by Rev. Clarence A. Mason "Weaver"
Clarence A. Mason "Weaver"
Clarence A. Mason "Weaver" has been challenging the political plantation for decades. He grew up knowing what it meant to be controlled by other people's ideas, and he spent his life figuring a way out. While serving in the Navy, a racist shipmate pushed nearly 2,800 pounds of steel and iron plates onto him. The Navy classified him disabled and sent him home. A situation that would have stopped most people.
Mason rebuilt himself from the ground up and started speaking his mind. He became a nationally recognized author and speaker known for saying the things most people are afraid to say out loud. His message is simple. Nobody owns your mind. Nobody gets to tell you what to think. The plantation changed its form but it never went away, and the only way out is the same way it has always been: you walk.
A Black gang member wakes up 150 years into the past during slavery, still remembering the freedoms he once had. He must learn the lessons of history to reclaim his future. A Mason Weaver production.
